Back in the mid 2000’s a takedown won you the round, even if somebody was dancing around you popping you with a jab for 4 minutes straight, if you hit a takedown, you stole the round. Shit has changed drastically with scoring. I’m 45 dude. I watched the whole thing go down. There is a time in mma history where that would have been a 30-27 for Jan Blachowicz.

Jan to Polak, nasz rodak. Obejrzałem tą walkę trzy razy. Patrząc na to co Alex powiedział po walce... Rozpracował go po mistrzowsku. To fakt. Janek trochę był zdesperowany, by go zrobić w parterze. I racja, bo każdy inny próbuje udowodnić "swoje ja" z jednym z najlepszych kickboxerow na świecie. Alex wygrał, może nie jakoś znacząco, ale to jemu się triumf należy. Był bardziej skuteczny w swoich uderzeniach.. i widać naprawdę, że Janka mega dużo sił kosztowało sprowadzanie go. A Alex ciągle wstawał, a w stójce był lepszy. I tak uważam, że Jan miał dobry plan na walkę. Przynajmniej on nie uniósł się dumą i wiedział, że w stójce nie ma z nim szans. Przynajmniej próbował go kontrolować w parterze. Bo do tej pory każdy walczy z Alexem bez IQ. Chcą go pokonać w stójce. Alexa... 😂😂 Zabrakło tej kontroli w parterze. Naprawdę myślę, że Janek byłby w stanie pokonać Alexa, a przynajmniej pokazać, że to najtrudniejszy przeciwnik z jakim się spotkał w MMA. Szkoda, że Jan ma kontuzje... Bo wróci to będzie musiał odbudować swoją pozycję. Gdyby był zdrowy.. zapewne miałby szybki rewanż, bo walka była naprawdę bliska, ale wiadomo Alex ja wygral

Análise perfeita da luta. Efectivamente é o erro de todos os adversários de Poatan. Querem lutar com ele onde de pé. Sim Jan foi adversários mais duro que Poatan enfrentou no UFC. Как раз таки по моему в 3 у него хорошие серии заходили, а во 2 он как будто бы вот вот помрет. Ankalaev does have really good striking but not to the level of guys like Artem Vahkitov or Yousri boulgari who pereira has faced multiple times in glory. If ankalaev actually wrestles and uses takedown threats to set up strikes and strikes to set up takedowns then pereira is in trouble but I doubt he does

Pereira’s cardio and chin are even more impressive at LHW. Also can’t see how you score anything but round 1 for Błachowicz lol.

It seemed like Pereira was more energetic but if you count the shot for shot, it's hard to say, because Jan had a lot of heat behind his punches, which could count as 'significant strikes'--Alex's strikes were consistent but more voluminous.

Я увидел победу Блаховича. 2 раунда валял Перейру, наскакивал на него с ударами. Перейра отмахивался от Яна как от назойливого пожилого поляка. И 3м раунде Ян повалял и поконтролировал Алекса. Думаю все эти неудачи ему после того как он слил бой Тещейре. Лег и сдался.

1 - раунд Блахович , за счёт контроля и попытки сабмишена. 2 - Перейра , тут даже спорить смысла нет , Блаховича гоняли как щенка по октагону в этом раунде. 3 - раунд 60 на 40 в пользу Перейры за счёт контроля центра октагона , активных действий и более акцентированных ударов.

Посмотрел бой перед боем Алекса с Иржи. Думаю, что дыхалка у Иржи как у коня и он переедет Перейру.

Because Khamzat threw ground strikes on Usman and beat him up in the first round to earn it. Jan did nothing damage wise on the ground.

Because alex was dominating the first for first two minutes. Alex got him in standing choke . Whereas chimaev took Usman down in first minute and thrown so many punches . 10-8 round means one fighter dominated whole round. 10-9 means one slightly better than other fighter in that round.

Yan landed two massive left-hooks that would have rocked anybody else, but Alex took them easily. The announcers need to stop treating take-downs as scoring-shots, and instead treat them like defended strikes or checked-kicks. That will stop fighters from trying to "steal a round" by getting a late take-down and doing nothing with it.

There's a reason Nate Diaz said "oh, so you're a wrestler now" about Conor. It wasn't because Conor thought he could beat Nate up on the ground. It was purely defensive because he was getting beat up on the feet.

Jan won this fight, I watched it live and thought that. I said you know sometimes you watch it a second time you see things you missed but no I thought Jan won clearly. When u look tired it looks like you’re losing to these stupid ass judges. I swear athletic commission hiring these judges need to either have better coaching or maybe a person that looks at all their scores and ask questions take an extra 10 minutes to look over points and ask them why when it doesn’t make sense
